It’s Friday! It’s Friday. We at Clicksor just LOVE our Fridays. And what better way to spend our final work day of the week than giving our Advertisers yet another tip to increase campaign set up efficiency?
As you may already know, Clicksor utilizes the keywords that you enter into the system to content match to our Publisher sites. Therefore, the more relevant keywords you have for a particular campaign, the more targeted it can be.
Have you ever had a lot of keywords that you needed to adjust the bids for? 100 keywords might not take so long, but 1000? That could take a while.
The first thing you can do to save yourself a lot of page loading is adjusting the amount of keywords you’d like to appear in your list. Just choose your campaign and under LISTING, select Keyword List. This will prompt the list of keywords you’ve entered into the system.
At the top right area of your keyword list, you’ll notice this phrase:
keywords per page: 10 30 100
Naturally, the amount of keywords per page will reflect the value you selected.
Next, take a look at your keywords. On the right side of your keyword list, you’ll notice a field with MAX BID, this is where you’d normally set your bid for that keyword. Of particular interest, notice the word that says COPY just to the right of it.
By clicking COPY, your bids for all keywords that appear below that field will reflect the value placed in your MAX BID field. For example, if you set your max bid for $0.05 per click, selecting COPY will make all values after that keyword also $0.05 per click.
It’s important to note that this will only affect keywords that appear on that page. Also, to ensure that the keyword bids have been updated, be sure to hit SAVE at the bottom!
It’s a handy tool, and its sure to save you a lot of time.
